Battle Creatures (“the app,” “we,” “us”) is a creature‑collecting battle game. This
policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. We
built the app to collect as little as possible: your game progress lives on your
device, and we do not use any third‑party advertising or
analytics/tracking SDKs.
The short version
Game progress, settings, and any avatar photo are stored only on your device.
We show no ads and use no analytics or tracking.
Purchases are handled by Apple and RevenueCat so we can deliver and restore what you buy.
Optional online multiplayer uses Google Firebase to connect players; there is no chat and no real names.
The game is fun for kids, so purchases sit behind a grown‑up check.
1. Information the app handles
Stored on your device only (not sent to us)
Game progress & settings — your creatures, currencies, levels, and options are saved in local on‑device storage. We cannot see this data.
Trainer avatar photo (optional) — if you choose to set a profile photo, the app asks for camera or photo‑library access. The image you pick is stored on your device only and is never uploaded. If you never set a photo, these permissions are never used.
Local notifications (optional) — reminders are scheduled on your device. No notification data leaves the device.
In‑app purchases
Real‑money purchases (currency packs, the Battle Pass, and the Starter Bundle) are
processed by Apple In‑App Purchase, with RevenueCat as our
purchase‑management provider. To deliver, validate, and restore your purchases, these
services process:
Data
Purpose
Purchase history / transaction receipts
Deliver purchased items, prevent double‑charging, and let you restore non‑consumable purchases (Battle Pass, Starter Bundle).
A RevenueCat‑assigned anonymous app‑user identifier (and, if you sign in to Game Center, your Game Center player ID used as an alias)
Associate your purchases with your account so they restore on a new device.
We do not receive your credit‑card number or full payment details — Apple handles payment. See Apple’s and RevenueCat’s policies linked below.
Game Center
If you use Game Center features (leaderboards/achievements), Apple provides a
Game Center player ID. We use it to record scores/achievements and, as noted
above, to help restore your purchases across your devices. Game Center is governed by
Apple’s privacy policy.
If you choose to play an online match, the app uses Google Firebase
(Firestore) to set up the game and a direct WebRTC connection to play it:
A short‑lived “room” is created containing a 4‑letter join code, your chosen creature, and the technical connection (“signaling”) data needed to link two devices. These records are transient and are removed/expired after the match.
Sign‑in to Firebase is anonymous — no name, email, or account is required or collected.
Your in‑game name is auto‑generated (e.g., “Mighty Blaze”) and is not your real name.
A direct (peer‑to‑peer) connection means your device’s IP address is shared with the other player’s device, and may be relayed through a connection server. This is inherent to real‑time online play.
There is no chat, messaging, or file sharing — players exchange only game moves.
You can avoid all of the above by simply not starting an online match — the rest of the game (including “Local vs bots”) works fully offline.
2. What we do not do
No third‑party advertising and no ad networks.
No analytics, tracking, or behavioural‑profiling SDKs.
No selling or sharing of personal information.
No collection of contacts, precise location, microphone, or health data.
3. Children’s privacy
Battle Creatures appeals to a broad audience, including children. We designed it to be
appropriate for younger players:
Real‑money purchases are placed behind an in‑app confirmation and a parental ("grown‑up") check, in addition to Apple’s own purchase authentication. We encourage parents to use Apple’s Screen Time and Ask to Buy controls.
We do not knowingly request a child’s name, email, photo (uploads), precise location, or contact information. The optional avatar photo never leaves the device.
Online multiplayer has no chat and uses anonymous, auto‑generated names.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided information you’d like
removed, contact us using the form below and we will address it promptly.
4. Data retention & deletion
On‑device data (progress, settings, avatar photo) is removed when you delete the app or clear its data.
Multiplayer room/signaling records are short‑lived and expire automatically after a match.
Purchase records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat according to their policies, so your purchases can be restored.
To request deletion of any data associated with your purchases or Game Center identity,
use the contact form below and we will work with our providers to honour applicable requests.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal
information, or to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing.” We do not sell or share personal
information. To exercise any right, contact us using the form below.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by a new
“Last updated” date on this page.
8. Contact
Use the form below for any privacy question or request (access, correction, or deletion).
You don’t need to share your name or email — leave the contact field blank to stay anonymous,
or add an email/handle only if you’d like a reply.
When you submit this form, your message (and any contact detail you choose
to include) is stored securely in our Google Firebase project so we can read and respond to it. It is not used for
any other purpose.
